The present investigation deals with the effect of different colours as pollinator attractants on cross-pollination in Boswellia serrata. Among red, blue, green, pink, yellow, black and white attractants, pink, red and blue colour were found to be superior to attract the maximum number of pollinators and cross-pollination percentage was maldmum. Consumer decision making has long been of interest to researchers. Companies in retail are interested in the study of consumer behavior as it makes them familiar with the emerging needs and desires of their current and prospective buyers. To find out what satisfies customers, marketers must examine the main influences on what, where, when and how customers buy goods and services. By understanding these factors better, marketers are better able to predict how consumers will respond to marketing strategies. Ultimately, this information helps Modern retail malls as well as conventional retail stores to compete more effectively in the marketplace and leads to more satisfied customers.
The paper highlights the factors that influence consumer buying behaviour in modern retail mall and conventional store and researcher made a comparative analysis of those variables between modern retail format and conventional retail store. The purpose of this research is specifically to analyse and make comparative study of consumer shopping behavior in different retail formats. Consumer shopping behavior presents using shopping intention, attitude towards modern retail outlet or conventional shopping stores and shopping habits.

Internet has become part of our lives and there has been a manifold increase in internet users over the years in India and globally. It has made our life easy and comfortable through providing better opportunities for communication, information and social interaction. However, excessive usage of the internet has led to many negative consequences on human life. Despite excessive internet use has led to the emergence of the concept of internet addiction, the conceptual clarity is still missing to understand the underlying mechanism. Due to this lack of the conceptual clarity, there has not been a formal consensus on diagnostic criteria for Internet Addiction which has hindered the development of proper assessment tools and epidemiological research on the topic and the concept of Internet addiction as a distinct psychiatric disorder is still in its infancy. But most of the studies conducted previously in the field of internet addiction looked into the risk factors for developing or associated with internet addiction rather than conceptualizing the underlying phenomenon of problematic internet use and testing out the same with further research. This leaves the question about calling the internet addiction as a separate disorder or considering it as a comorbid condition for other psychiatric condition unanswered. So the focus of the current review is to understand the conceptual issues pertaining to problematic internet use through the available literature and to draw the attention of readers on the existing theories explaining the etiology of the problematic internet use and to provide future direction for research in this important and yet controversial area.Keywords

Drainage quality is an important parameter which affects the highway pavement performance. Excessive water content in the pavement base, sub-base, and sub-grade soils can cause early distress and lead to a structural or functional failure of pavement. Thus, when selecting appropriate maintenance strategies the cost of pavement maintenance needs to be compared with the cost of improving the quality of drainage. Hence, there is a need to quantify the effect of various types of drainage quality on performance of the pavement. However, very few studies have investigated to what extent quality of drainage affects the performance of pavement. Therefore, this study identifies a simple framework for quantification of effect of drainage quality on structural as well as functional performance of the pavement. The proposed framework presents the structural and functional performance of the pavement is predicted in terms of deflection and roughness respectively. It is expected that this study will useful to reduce the maintenance cost of highway pavement system and hence will be useful to preserve huge highway network in India.Keywords

Proteins are very much useful components and their functional annotation is also very useful as well. The function of protein is the measure of the expression of that particular protein. By knowing the function of one protein it can be found out the function of that protein also which has conserved region of the above protein whose function is known. PANDORA is a web based tool to aid biologist in interpretation of protein sets without the need of examining each individual protein. The general approach that PANDORA uses is based on annotation. In PANDORA, annotations are treated as binary properties that can be assigned to proteins. In relation with histone protein family we find out not only functional annotation but the evolutionary relationship with the family members of histone protein. PANDORA gives results for histone protein family. It provides more white the nodes which mean the sensitivity is higher, that are close to 1, reflect the result that fraction of the proteins with annotation. Specificity provides the data that is always more than 0, that gives the result that fraction of protein set has annotation.Keywords

Paper Electrophoresis study of mixed complexes of metal ions with 2-aminobenzoic acid, 3-aminobenzoic acid and 4-aminobenzoic acid as primary ligand and NTA as secondary ligand. Experimental procedure adopted for simple complexation studies is modified. The background electrolyte contains primary ligand in addition to perchloric acid and the pH is maintained at 8.5, the concentration of secondary ligand NTA is progressively increased and the electrophoretic observation of the metal ion spot on paper strip is taken at every addition of the secondary ligand, all the observations have been recorded under the Potential, 200 volts; Time, 30 min; Temperature, 25°C; Ionic strength, 0.1; Potential gradient; 6.66 volt/cm. Using the principle of average mobility, stability constant can be calculated with the help of mobilities .The higher values or stability constant of ternary complexes of 3-aminobenzoic acid than those of 4-aminobenzoic acid and 2-aminobenzoic acid and that of 4-aminobenzoic acid than 2-aminobenzoic acid are attributed to the stronger acidic character of 3-aminobenzoic acid than 4-amino, and 2-aminobenzoic acid and that of 4-aminobenzoic acid than 2-aminobenzoic acid. It must be noted that higher values of stability constants in case of ternary complexes than binary complexes indicate their increased stability.Keywords

The paper aims at analyzing the trend of compensation to the workers and employees in Indian manufacturing sector. The data for this study is collected from Annual Survey of Industries 2014- 15 published in 2017 by Central Statistical Office. The function distribution of income theory approach has been used as the basis to design this paper. The comparative analysis of pre-reform and post-reform data has been done using dummy variable regression to check the structural break in series due to 1991 reforms. The major finding of this paper is that the profits have increased more than the other factors of production. On the contrary, the compensation paid to employees and workers has gone down drastically.References

Globally salinity impairs the productivity potential of agricultural land. Apart from salinity, there are a number of factors responsible for the stagnation of wheat productivity. This problem is becoming acute day by day due to improper management of natural resources. Salinity has repressive effects on physiological characteristics of wheat. Soil salinity affects plant growth by creating water and ionic imbalance in the plant due to the presence of toxic ions. Salt-affected plants exhibit stunted growth and have darker leaf colour. Nutrient deficiency is another yield-limiting factor and this problem is aggravating gradually due to intensive cultivation, imbalanced and injudicious usage of fertilizers. The widespread deficiency of nitrogen and phosphorus is followed by Zn deficiency. Zinc is an important component of proteins and acts as a structural, functional or regulatory cofactor of a number of enzymes. Moreover, it plays a significant role in plant metabolism. Generally, the presence of excess salt decreases photosynthesis, total carbohydrate, fatty acid and protein, therefore, zinc has the tendency to offset the negative effects of salinity on plant growth.Keywords
